KIKE Conference 2022

Brightspot partners Katarzyna Orzeł and Maciej Jojczyk took part in this year’s edition of the conference organised by the National Chamber of Ethernet Communications, which took place on 19-21 September 2022.

Attorney-at-law Katarzyna Orzeł moderated two panels entitled: ‘Copyright law in the TV service – how it works’ and ‘Wholesale access to the fibre-optic network including networks built with POPC – market analysis’. During the panels, the discussion covered, among other things, how a small or medium-sized ISP can provide TV services in the current legal reality, as well as the present situation of the market for wholesale access to fibre optic networks.

In addition, attorney-at-law Orzeł took part in a panel entitled: ‘Good practices in contracts with broadcasters – how to avoid pitfalls and conclude a good contract’ organised together with Łukasz Biedroński from Fundacja Nasza Wizja.
